Join us in reading Danielle Dutton’s Margaret the First: A Novel and enjoy a lively discussion on the life of Margaret Cavendish with ZMA docent Alta Sims. This eccentric 17th-century duchess earned the nickname “Mad Madge” by publishing poems, feminist plays, philosophy, and works of science-fiction in a time when writing was not a career option for women.
