A BOOK APART | "Evocative Objects: Things We Think With" edited and with an introduction by Sherry Turkle

Join us for a special “show and tell” edition of A Book ApART. What objects in your life are important to you? Why? Do they bring back precious memories, provoke thought, or play a key role in your day-to-day life?

Join us in reading Evocative Objects: Things We Think With edited and with an introduction by Sherry Turkle and enjoy a fascinating collection of essays about the deep connection individuals have with specific objects. Objects discussed include vehicles, musical instruments, stuffed animals, electronics, food, datebooks, and even an ancient Egyptian mummy.

ZMA education coordinator Misty Johnson will lead an exciting discussion on the power of objects in our lives to evoke deep meaningful connections. You are invited to bring your own evocative object to “show and tell.”
