Instructor: Faith Cornell

Faith Cornell is a Zanesville artist, mother of three, and wife to her high school sweetheart, Brandon. She is a member of the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project and The Artist's Colony of Zanesville and has exhibited art at the ZAAP Gallery in Zanesville, Ohio, and the Louis O. Palmer Gallery in New Concord, Ohio. She is a graduate of Bradford School’s Graphic Design Program and will graduate with her Bachelor’s of Leadership & Ministry in May 2023. Having enjoyed the opportunity to work as a graphic artist, illustrator, and floral artist over the years, she has developed a love of florals, learning new techniques, and playing with new materials. Her favorite mediums are paper, ink, and watercolor, but she also especially enjoys acrylics, gouache, and clay. Faith is active in her local church where she is involved in leadership and has served youth & family ministry in various capacities (including as Youth Leader and Vacation Bible School Director), where she has been able to put her love for young people and art into action. She currently teaches art at ZCHE Homeschool Co-Operative and through the nonprofit she founded alongside her husband, called Goodcity Creatives. Her passion is helping young people to understand the powerful and positive force that art can be in our lives: to give us hope, to help us process big emotions, to express ourselves, and communicate important truths to others.
