Friends and award-winning artists Neil Riley and Fred Fochtman will conduct a collaborative three-day plein air painting workshop at the Zanesville Museum of Art. Neil Riley, now living in Vermont, taught painting for 30 years at the Columbus College of Art & Design, and is a gifted observational artist. Fred Fochtman is a Columbus-based painter, art restorer, and instructor. These two artists will join forces to provide unique insights into their approach to plein air sketching and painting with exercises that will reinforce the fundamentals (and beyond) essential to any well-executed painting. This workshop is being offered in conjunction with An Artist of All Seasons: Landscapes by Karl Kappes.
Activity Fees$325 for both members and not-yet-members.
