Reel Meal | 'What Matters': Documenting the Fight for Racial Equality in Zanesville

The Zanesville Museum of Art partnering with Reel Meal, The Muskingum County Library System, and the Muskingum County Social Justice Coalition are excited to offer another Virtual Reel Meal.

Join us on zoom Saturday, January 16, at 6 pm to view and discuss the documentary ‘What Matters’: Documenting the Fight for Racial Equality in Zanesville by local filmmaker Doug Swift. As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. Day, join the conversation on racial equality, the Black Lives Matter movement, the events that led up to the peaceful demonstrations in Zanesville in May 2020, and the state of advocacy for equality today. Join our moderator Doug Swift and a panel of key individuals featured in the film including Mayor Don Mason, Kyle Johnson, and Darryl Graves for a lively discussion on this critical social issue.
