Learn drawing and collage techniques inspired by plein air artist Debra Joyce Dawson. Use the extraordinary architecture of Zanesville as inspiration as Dawson walks you through a variety of exciting art making processes. This program is being held in conjunction with special ZMA exhibitions Landscapes by Debra Joyce Dawson and An American in Venice | James McNeill Whistler and His Legacy. See Whistler’s behind the scenes views of Venice and create your own masterpieces showcasing the historical side of Zanesville.
Works produced in this workshop will be on display in the education classroom for the month of December.
This is an all day workshop with an hour break for lunch. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch. Please bring photographs of your favorite Zanesville buildings and locations.
