Topic: Photograph Your World

August 19 is World Photography Day and it celebrates the art, craft, science, and history of photography. Photography has the ability to capture a moment in time and allows us to share these moments with others. As a young man, Dr. Harry W. Taylor captured 1930s Zanesville and by doing so gives us a glimpse into his world. This photograph 5th Street Bridge Fruit Stand, 1936, shows a fruit vendor Taylor encountered frequently as he walked to and from school across the 5th Street Bridge. Find or take a photo that captures a moment in time in your world and post it to social media using #ZMAphotohunt.
