ZMA Talks: Living History: Artist Alice Schille

Join us for a special edition of ZMA Talks with a living history presentation from the perspective of renowned Columbus painter Alice Schille.

Speaker: Robin Schuricht

Artist, educator, and researcher Robin Schuricht will take on the persona of Alice Schille (1869-1955) and discuss her life, art, and painting techniques.

The ZMA is proud to have a beautiful portrait painted by Schille on display in the 3rd floor Arts of Ohio Gallery. Come learn more about this work and the artist behind it in this exciting and interactive presentation.

Schuricht discovered her love of first-person character interpretation as an educator at the Ohio History Connection, where she served for over 20 years. Currently, along with being an active painter and art instructor, Schuricht is part of the education team at the ZMA, supporting and developing school curriculum programs.

Thursday, March 20, 6 pm, in the 2nd Floor Linn Auditorium. Free and open to the public. Registration encouraged by March 19, 2025.
