Ohio’s rich clay deposits were used for more than the American Art Pottery that made Zanesville and the surrounding areas famous. Brickmaking was another booming Ohio industry. Join researcher, writer, history enthusiast, and ZMA Docent Michael Sims and explore the fascinating story of convict-made bricks produced in two Ohio state prisons.
