A BOOK APART | Book Discussion

Join us in reading Edmund de Waal’s The Hare with Amber Eyes: A Family's Century of Art and Loss. Read how de Waal, author
and renowned ceramic artist, researched his family history through a collection of Japanese netsuke, passed down for
generations and join museum director Laine Snyder for a look at the ZMA’s own netsuke collection. Copies available at the
Muskingum County Public Library’s John McIntire branch, downtown Zanesville.

Eyes, held in the collection of Edmund de Waal.

Thursday, April 6, 6–7 pm, at the ZMA. Free and open to the public. No registration required.
